The City of Coffee City honors the memory of Sergeant James Johnston who lost his life defending our country in Afghanistan on June 25th 2019 Sgt. Johnston is related to a member of the Coffee City Fire Dept.

The City of Coffee City honors the memory of Sergeant James Johnston who lost his life defending our country in Afghanistan on June 25th 2019 Sgt. Johnston is related to a member of the Coffee City Fire Dept.

Sgt. Johnston was assigned to 79 ordinance battalion explosive ordnance disposal 71 st ordnance group Fort Hood Texas. Sgt. Johnston was born in Tyler Texas on September 16th, 1994. His farther Richard Johnston still lives in the Lake Palestine area. His mother Meghan Billiot lives in Galveston Texas.

Sgt. Johnston leaves behinds a wife Krista Johnston and an unborn child that is due in Nov. the child will be named Jamie Avery Grace Johnston after her farther that everyone called Jamie.

The city of Coffee City honored a true American hero Sgt. James Johnston by flying the flag at half mass.

For all the family of Sgt. James Johnston the City of Coffee City prays that God will be comforted. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those that morn for they will be comforted.
